PeloServe is a trading name of Pelo Group Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13268133. In these terms, “PeloServe”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Pelo Group Limited trading as PeloServe. These terms apply to peloserve.co.uk and its subdomains, including app.peloserve.co.uk, and to the PeloServe mobile app for iOS and Android.

1. What PeloServe is

PeloServe is a marketplace that connects customers with independent local service businesses. When you submit a “Request a Quote”, it becomes visible to businesses on PeloServe. A business may claim your request and contact you directly.

2. PeloServe is not the business

PeloServe is not a party to any agreement you make with a business you meet through the platform. Businesses on PeloServe are independent and are not employees, agents or partners of Pelo Group Limited. Any quote, service or work is agreed between you and the business, on the terms you agree with them.

3. Business profiles: public and private

Each business chooses how much of its profile to make public. Some businesses publish a full profile—including their description, address, contact details, services and reviews—for anyone to see. Other businesses keep their profile private, showing only their name, town and logo publicly. You can see a private business’s full profile once it has carried out work for you. Prices are shown only if the business chooses to display them.

4. No guarantee of a response

We do not guarantee that a business will claim or respond to your quote request, or that a claimed request will result in a quote you accept. Response times and outcomes are outside our control.

If a business is suspended or removed from PeloServe, it may no longer be able to respond to your request.

5. Your account

If you create a PeloServe account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for ensuring the information you provide is accurate, including your name, contact details and address. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

You can delete your account at any time from your account page on peloserve.co.uk by selecting “Delete Account”. You will be signed out and your account closed immediately. Deleting your PeloServe account does not cancel or change any payment obligation you have agreed with a business. We retain your data for 30 days in case you ask us to restore your account. After that period, we anonymise or delete it as described in our Privacy Policy. Quote requests and messages already shared with a business may remain in that business’s records.

6. Reviews

If you review a business you have received work from, your review may appear on that business’s profile with your name, unless you submit it anonymously. Reviews must be honest and based on your genuine experience.

Our moderation team may hide or remove reviews that are abusive, false or not based on a genuine experience. You can ask us to remove a review you wrote by contacting support@peloserve.co.uk.

7. Marketing communications

If you opt in to receive marketing emails, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in a marketing email or through your account settings. Unsubscribing does not affect service-related emails about your account or an active quote request.

8. Acceptable use, reporting and blocking

You must not misuse PeloServe. This includes submitting false or misleading quote requests or reviews; sending unlawful, abusive, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit or harassing messages or content; spamming businesses; or attempting to disrupt the platform.

You can report a business profile, post, review or message that you believe breaches these terms using the “Report” links on peloserve.co.uk or by contacting support@peloserve.co.uk. Businesses may block a customer, which prevents that customer from messaging them.

Our moderation team reviews reports and may hide or remove content or suspend an account. If we suspend your account or remove content you have posted, we will tell you why and how to contact our support team. We may act without prior notice where necessary to protect users or comply with the law.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Businesses on PeloServe are independent. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality or outcome of work carried out by a business you find through PeloServe, or for any agreement, payment or dispute between you and that business. Your rights in relation to the business’s work are governed by the agreement you make directly with that business and applicable law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will be available on this page. If you continue using PeloServe after updated terms take effect, you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
