1. What PeloServe provides

PeloServe provides a subscription platform for service businesses. The platform includes scheduling, invoicing, payment features and a marketplace presence on peloserve.co.uk, including a business profile and access to the “Request a Quote” pool of customer leads.

2. Your PeloServe account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use PeloServe.

3. Your subscription

You need an active subscription plan to access PeloServe. Plan features, limits and prices are shown at https://peloserve.co.uk/pricing and in the app under Profile → Billing & Plan. Plans, features, limits and prices may change from time to time. We will give you reasonable notice of any price change.

Subscriptions are billed in advance for monthly or annual periods through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in your billing settings. Cancellation stops your subscription from renewing, but you can continue to use PeloServe until the end of the period you have paid for.

Fees are non-refundable, including for any unused part of a subscription period, except where required by law or stated otherwise at checkout.

4. Your business profile

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you publish on PeloServe is accurate, including your business address, public contact email address and phone number, description, services and prices. You can manage two separate visibility settings from your dashboard:

Public or Private: a Public profile displays your full profile—including your description, address, contact details, services and reviews—to any visitor. A Private profile hides those details from the public. Only a customer who has received work from you can view your full profile. In either case, your business name, town and logo remain visible in PeloServe’s directory search.

Show or hide prices: separately, you choose whether your service prices are displayed publicly. Prices are hidden by default. You can change this setting in your Business Profile settings.

You can change these settings at any time. PeloServe will display information about your business according to the settings you choose.

5. Quote requests (“leads”)

Customer quote requests are visible to all subscribing businesses in an open pool. Any business may claim an open request. Once claimed, the request is removed from the pool and is no longer available to other businesses.

Claiming a request does not guarantee that the customer will accept a quote you send. It does not create any obligation on PeloServe beyond making the request available to you. You are responsible for communicating with the customer, providing quotes and carrying out any work agreed with them.

You may block a customer from messaging you and report any customer or message that you believe breaches these terms or the law. Our moderation team reviews reports and may take action against the customer’s account.

6. Your relationship with your customers

You operate as an independent business. These terms do not make you an employee, agent or partner of Pelo Group Limited. Any contract for services between you and a customer is between you and that customer alone. PeloServe is not a party to that contract and is not responsible for carrying out the work or for its performance.

7. Staff accounts

If you invite staff members to use PeloServe, you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide about them, ensuring you have a lawful basis to give them access to your customer, scheduling and payroll data, and removing their access when they leave your business. We process staff data on your instructions, as described in our Privacy Policy.

A staff member may delete their PeloServe login at any time. This removes their access to the platform but does not delete the visit, schedule or payroll records you hold about them.

8. Your content and community rules

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you publish or send through PeloServe, including your business profile, posts, quotes and messages to customers. You must not publish or send content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, misleading or infringes another person’s rights. You must not use PeloServe to spam or harass customers or other businesses. Reviews are written by customers and are not edited by PeloServe.

Anyone may report content or an account that they believe breaches these rules, using the app or the “Report” links on our website. Our moderation team reviews reports and may hide or remove content or suspend an account. If we remove your content or suspend your account, we will email you with the reason and explain how to contact our support team. We may act without prior notice where necessary to protect users or comply with the law.

9. Your email settings

If your plan allows it, you may configure your own outgoing email server (SMTP) in your dashboard. You are responsible for ensuring that the credentials you provide are accurate and that you are entitled to use the email service to send communications on your behalf. We store your credentials securely and use them only to send invoices, quotes and other business communications that you initiate through PeloServe.

10. Payments

If you use PeloServe’s payment processing features, provided through our payment providers, to invoice or collect payments from your customers, additional processing fees may apply. Any applicable fees are shown in your billing settings.

You are responsible for your own tax obligations, including VAT where applicable. Subscription fees and SMS credits are charged through our payment providers, with prices shown at checkout.

11. SMS credits and messaging

Some plans allow you to send SMS messages to your customers, such as visit reminders and payment notifications. SMS messages are paid for using SMS credits. Your plan may include a monthly allowance of free credits, and you may buy additional credits through your dashboard or the app. The price per credit is shown before purchase, and each message sent uses credits from your balance.

If your balance runs out, SMS messages will not be sent until you add more credits. We will notify you when this happens.

Purchased credits are paid for in advance through Stripe. They are non-refundable, except where required by law, and cannot be exchanged for cash. [Choose and retain one: “Purchased credits do not expire while your account is active.” or “Purchased credits expire 12 months after purchase.”] Unused purchased credits are forfeited if your account is deleted or terminated. Monthly free credits are a plan benefit and have no cash value. [Confirm whether unused monthly free credits carry over; state the rule here.]

You are responsible for the messages you send through PeloServe. You must only message customers whose phone numbers you hold and where you have a lawful basis to contact them. You must comply with applicable laws and rules on electronic communications, including the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. You must not use SMS to send spam or unlawful, misleading or abusive content.

We may limit or suspend your ability to send messages if we reasonably believe messaging is being misused. SMS delivery depends on network operators and our messaging provider, so we cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered.

12. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse PeloServe. This includes submitting false information, circumventing the platform to avoid fees where your plan prohibits it, or engaging in unlawful, fraudulent or abusive conduct towards customers or other businesses.

Conduct or content that breaches the community rules in section 8 also breaches this section.

13. Suspension, termination and account deletion

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, misuse the platform or fail to pay applicable fees. If we suspend your account or remove your content, we will tell you why. You can contact support@peloserve.co.uk to discuss the decision.

You can cancel your subscription at any time in your billing settings and delete your account at any time in the app or web dashboard under Profile → Delete Account. When you delete your account, you are signed out immediately, your subscription stops renewing and no further subscription payments are taken. The period you have already paid for is not refunded.

We retain your data for 30 days in case you ask us to restore your account. After that period, we anonymise or delete the data as described in our Privacy Policy. Staff members may delete their own login without affecting the business’s records. We retain financial records where required by law.

Unused SMS credits are not refunded when you delete your account.

14. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to the paragraph above, Pelo Group Limited is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, anticipated savings, goodwill or data. This exclusion for loss of data does not apply to loss caused by our failure to take reasonable care of your data.

Subject to the paragraphs above, Pelo Group Limited’s total liability to you arising from or in connection with these terms or your use of PeloServe, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, will not exceed the greater of £100 and the subscription and other fees you paid to us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

PeloServe provides a platform for businesses and customers to connect. We are not responsible for any agreement, work, payment or dispute between you and a customer.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will be available on this page. If you continue to use PeloServe after the updated terms take effect, you accept the updated terms.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
